What is enamel?

Enamel is powdered glass dust that completely melts at high temperature (about 800°C). It creates a smooth surface that does not lose colour.

Enameling is a thousands of years old technique – archaeologist found enameled items dating back in Mesopotamia.

  

Care instructions:

Can be used on gas, electric and ceramic hob, induction, open fire (camp fire) as well as the dishwasher.

 

Can I use enamelware in a microwave?

Do not put it in the microwave. Our mugs are made from steel so it would explore.

 

Why is the colour of the items I received different to the one I saw online?

Each desktop / screen works using different technology so the colour might appear different on different screens. It is important to check how your screen is calibrated.
